#LAWTAKE - WWE NXT 3/12/24

Why is anyone surprised that the former TNA Tag Team Champion Robert Stone can actually wrestle or at least keep up?
If Lexis King is doing anything right in NXT it’s getting that “Coronation” finisher over. The feud with Von Wagner continues on..
Three weeks in and I might actually be over The Chairman. Feels like I watched AEW 2019.
Shawn Spears pins Ridge Holland rather easily albeit on the chair. So much for that blood feud. Now we have rubber matches through WrestleMania season with these two.
LWO finally win! Wow! They may even be in line for a tag team title shot against Wolf Dogs. I for sure thought OTM would beat these two since they’re more featured on NXT.
Kiana James is growing on me as the sneaky heel. Finally. I’ll give her that. Improvement was inevitable. More tag teams winning and building credibility for the Kabuki Warriors to slay. Not mad at this.
In NXT it’s always a revolving door of dumping the tag partner that you came in the door with then feuding with them kinda then reuniting. Jacy Jayne and Kiana James are the highlights of that statement.
Heel Roxanne Perez is unlocked. Absolutely here for the character change. No more smiley obvious babyface. Show the aggression. I can definitely see Roxanne and Cora realigning when Coral returns later this year/next.
Gigi Dolin can’t buy a win or a feud that matters. If she’s on the future endeavor list I could see her making a splash in ROH or even AEW lower midcard.
A low blow in a womens match to cause a DQ? Uhhh check Twitter to see the reaction of that ending.
Trick Williams feels like he should be a “less is more” guy. Trick and Swerve Strickland have uncomfortable parallels when they cut promos for an extended amount of time. More time to develop I’ll give him that.
Oba Femi with filler North American Title feuds to get himself and the reign over. Keep it up cause he’s smoking shit. Brooks & Jensen will reunite eventually.
Dijak wants the North American title again.. yep that contract renewal is almost up. He’s either gonna be a big time player for NXT this summer or he’s going to be the man in TNA having some bangers with Moose/Hammerstone/Josh Alexander come Bound For Glory.
Noam Dar is so fucking good. A bright spot on NXT for me is this guy. Just a smooth and cocky talker that can back it up in the ring and has a faction that looks pretty legit.
Wtf was that kiss with Trick & Lash about? Talk about SWERVE. But if those two did end up finding each other that’s a helluva pair I didn’t see coming. They look like dominance with their height and moves. Them being an on-screen couple as champions in NXT is beautiful storytelling.
It’s Shawn Michaels running the show so I don’t doubt at all if what I mentioned is the route we’re going.
Carmelo and Trick is going to be a good trilogy of matches for this season. Both will bring the best out of each other.
& with those two keeping each other occupied, Tony D’Angelo and the Family kidnap Ilya D and force him to use the NXT Championship as a compass to find his way home from a bridge. Word. That’s what’s up. These two are totally gonna be feuding for the next two months.
If that is the case, Tony D as the next NXT Champion my pals. I said it. He will end Ilya’s reign IF this feud extends past one PPV cycle.
