#LAWTAKE - WWE RAW 10/03/2022

RAW

Chad Law from The Ringside Club giving you the weekly #LawTake from my viewing of the current product. The first insert starts with the latest edition of Monday Night (Repeat) Raw!

  • The Judgment Day getting "WHAT?'d" out of the building was a surprise, maybe not an enjoyable one for those who had to stand in the ring and deliver the promo, but nonetheless they got their points across. Judgment Day is a top tier Midcard faction to be reckoned with.

  • AJ Styles joining Judgement Day isn't much appetizing but for the sake of creating intrigue, a plan, something to keep all parties busy, and Survivor Series themed matches on the way, maybe Styles finally sides with the bad guys.

  • Rey Mysterio can't buy a win in any of his last 100 matches. I'm sure I'm wrong but the stats may not even let me down. Ret Vs. Dominik @ Mania in Cali will be some kind've money.

  • A tale of two wandering wrestlers - Lashley and Mustafa Ali. A pretty dope David/Goliath feud if they ever went further down that rabbit hole, Ali put up as much of a fight as he could. Lashley and Rollins being a serious feud in the winter I'm here for. Lashley hasn't had a meaningful feud since... beating BROCK LESNAR and becoming WWE Champion for the second time in his career just 8 months ago? That was a lot to think and type out.

  • Serious Matt Riddle is nice when he arrives. Seth Rollins can feud with a bag of toilet paper and make it work. Riddle doing the best work of his WWE run and deserves every bit of his spot right now. The pairing and/or feud with a returning Randy Orton, months from now maybe, will be a nice cherry on top to this run. Daniel Cormier makes his WWE debut for those that cared!

  • Candace LeRae never did much for me in her NXT run, really never breaking that glass ceiling in the Women's division. Tonight in only match two on Raw she fell victim to someone she has had a prior history with, one half of the Women's Tag Team Champions Dakota Kai.

  • Whoa, the Gargano family duo take back to back L's tonight? They're not invincible nor are they being booked as such so this shouldn't surprise. Otis is a heavy man so beating Johnny Gargano isn't too far-fetched.

  • Chad Gable is MONEYYYYY with this "SHOOOOOOOOOSH" gimmick. But tonight he had to eat that L from Brauny Strauman. The Monster Among Men is back in the 'E and he's doing what he always did... destroy people, places and things with no real meaning or reward in sight!

  • With the year-long ramblings of The Street Profits going solo and now Montez out with an injury for a bit, Angelo Dawkins is putting on a clinic on time he can get inside the squared circle. Tonight, the rising Solo Sikoa served the former Tag Champion an L that further keeps The Bloodline looking strong as ever.

  • Sami-Zayn-Is-Top-5-D-O-A. That is the sentence. Duh end.

  • Raw frequently ends with an extensive women's match, this Monday being no different. Alexa Bliss Vs. Io Sky was refreshing to say the least. Damage Control dominate in the long run, beating the snot out of everyone in sight while reinforcing that Bayley will have the advantage to win the first ever Women's Championship Ladder Match @ Extreme Rules against Bianca Belair.
