#LAWTAKE - AEW DYNAMITE 2/22/23
It’s Wednesday night so you know what that means!!! It’s AEW Dynamite and yet another #LAWTAKE..
AEW is really driving home these 15-20 minute opening matches. The problem with these really good matches is that there are no real long term storylines in place. Another successful All-Atlantic title defense for Orange Cassidy, and Yuta was not happy.
I hope the BCC embrace their heel role to the max. Yuta needs this resurgence although the crowd do love Mox and Claudio to an extent.
Who’s next for Cassidy? Big Bill next week. Can’t wait to see O.C. score his largest win to date, literally.
Lee Moriarty won’t grab a pinfall win that matters for another year or two at the rate he’s going but he’s gonna look damn good in defeat.
Big Bill is such a waste in AEW. Should have stayed in Impact and been a major force in the world title scene.
The Acclaimed continue to steam roll on as their train to tag title win number two continues.
Saraya made mince meat of Skye Blue and she needed that very bad. Is Saraya being in AEW considered one of the biggest flop signings in some time? I hope she proves us wrong.
Toni Storm has really come into her own finally and she will prosper as a heel.
Hayter Hive is strong and they won’t slow down even come the triple threat defense at Revolution.
If not for this Tag Team Battle Royal, you’d forget that AEW has a handful of tag teams to put in the title picture. But best served as one of the number one contenders is absolutely Lethal Jay. The get the best heat, even as much as the Ass Boys. If they win the belts next don’t even be surprised.
I also forget that The Firm are an actual faction and really are home to the tag titles.
Ricky Starks and Jericho Pt. 2 and I know they’ll tear the house down. The click of the pen is proof Jericho can get anything over and he is truly one of the Wrestling God’s. It’ll be a tough call but I think Jericho gets his lick back at Revolution..
Danielson/MJF is gonna be remembered as one of the more sleeper feuds of MJF’s reign a year from now. This really bought MJF a lot of time from his win at Full Gear in November to Revolution in March. Danielson in AEW is so fresh and exciting and I’m truly glad homie is not floundering in WWE fighting Otis.
Moxley beat up Evil Uno to a bloody pulp and then HE bled! With Max, there will be blood. Hangman is in for a world of hurt at Revolution.
