WTF is Ricochet doing beating Dom and making JD look like a moron? How random is this. I think more emphasis on the tag titles should have been the best move for Judgment Day.
Ricochet winning isn’t the worst idea but it’s just so random. He has no match, feud or path to WrestleMania but instead makes Judgment Day look like idiots by himself. I guess it’s airtime.
Funny when Ricochet finally gets a win and his wife can announce his name he gets interrupted by JD.
Indus Sher are the 2024 Ascension. Jinder Mahal went from Rock promo, World Title match & back to manager for jobbers.
Awesome Truth are winning the tag titles at Mania to set up their inevitable tag match at Backlash with Finn & Damian. Calling it NOW.
MORE HEEL CANDICE LERAE!!!! She’s killing this vicious, no remorseful heel role. Giving us a reason to even care. Indi Hartwell will most likely just see “The Way” and cut the confused looks and join in.
Alpha Academy didn’t stand a chance against New Day. If this wasn’t for a spot at WrestleMania then yeah I could see a random win/pin over Xavier. But for the sake of a big moment, you can’t have a WrestleMania without New Day again. Expect Kofi to fly off that ladder!
The Creed Brothers look nothing like the Diamond Mine days of NXT and it’s unappealing. They look like gray dots in the ring with those singlets. It’s still early for them so this road to WrestleMania wasn’t in the cards for them just yet.
DIY have their first WrestleMania path set and that’s cool. Johnny SameFace & Ciampa will probably have cool matching outfits at the PPV. I’d be VERY surprised if they even win the belts.
Gunther oozes superstar villain. I could see Sami putting up a helluva fight and Gunther STILL winning - that’s how impressive this guys reign is. But all signs point to Sami getting the dub as he’s proclaimed that guaranteed babyface victory.
Crazy how a year can change someone’s whole trajectory in wrestling when you look at Sami Zayn.
Jimmy Vs Jey should open one of the Mania nights. Get the match out the way. The promo videos and build for the match will be strong. The match as I said I have no high hopes for.
😐 will be my face after a five minute exchange of Superkicks between Jimmy & Jey.
Rollins/Drew having more microphone battles just makes me dread how much longer we have left till Mania. Losing focus, spotlight junkies, side bitches, deserving better, whining, crying, blah, blah, blah. Drew for the W at Mania Night 2.
Cody’s promo did it for me not because of the LDS and the curses and digs - but because it got right to the point. It’s putting emphasis on Cody’s biggest match which is NOT a tag team match.
Watching Cody & Heyman interact again feels like I was just here last year watching the same sequence and words, now we just add The Rock as an obstacle. Cool.
Cody/Roman having a face to face on Smackdown before they have one more fave to face on Smackdown.
Putting Becky Lynch in a Last Woman Standing match with Nia Jax before her World Title match was gutsy but thankfully Jax didn’t produce any dilemmas or potatoes. That match was pretty solid but also very “so what?”
Nia Jax with another major L albeit without a pinfall. This gives her an out to fight Becky again down the line whether a belt is on the line or not since Nia does have a victory over Becky.
Liv Morgan was nowhere to be found in this match but I sense her vs Nia during WrestleMania’s bathroom break will be the move. Nia needs a W and her not being on Mania isn’t ideal.
I still can’t help but think Rhea & Becky is not as enticing as everyone is making it out to be. The match will bang, but I’m just not here for Becky as Champion again at the sake of ending Rhea’s reign.
I would have been more satisifed with a 4-Way with Nia/Liv/Becky/Rhea as all the stories combined make more sense. Yes Becky won the Rumble but shit she was damn near predicted to before the match even happened. Again, are we supposed to just want Becky to win the Women’s Title because she won the Rumble or because she’s the better character? Either option, I’d heavily disagree.
6/10 Raw for me. Heavy on the same-ol-same-ol as the painstaking road to WrestleMania continues on.
