#LAWTAKE - WWE SMACKDOWN 3/8/24
Welcome in to another #LawTake courtesy of RSC’s own Chad Law. Rather than flood your Twitter feed, enjoy my focused review of the current product below! All comments are welcome.
Tiffany Stratton is beating every woman on the Smackdown roster left and right. She’s winning the Women’s MITB this Summer and her feud against Bayley is inevitable.
On the other hand sucks for Michin who can’t ever buy a win.
Angry heel AJ Styles I’m rolling with. I can’t front. It’s not the worst thing he could be doing right now.
Give us a reason to care about the LA/AJ feud why don’t ya. Like LA Knight swinging a chair at the television monitor.
The tag team of Randy Orton & Kevin Owens is yet another strange bed fellow tag team I didn’t realize we needed. I’m all the way here for this.
The three way they will have at Mania will rock though. KSI continues to be a punching bag.
The Latin American Division continues to run in circles on Smackdown. This week Dragon Lee got his chance to shine as he squashed Garza and then took a massive beat down from LDF.
Pop Up RKO is outstanding. More of these two guys. And less of Theory/Waller. Them boys are FRIED.
Logan Paul has been getting brass knuckles over more than Williams Regal ever could.
The Countdown to Future Endeavors begin when I watch Final Testament face off against the faction that still doesn’t get called by their name because it’s pretty terrible… aka Bobby Lashley & Street Profits. Pack this feud up and send Karrion back to NXT to help that main event division.
This Bloodline/Cody/Seth segment essentially rehashed everything they’ve both been saying towards each other. Seth was right, we know the stakes. Thank god they just accepted the challenge. Let the match happen at Night One. An elongated segment that was best used for the optics of all four in the ring.
Smackdown took a page out of AEW this week with the cut-off time! Damn shit crazy. But I’m here for Cody getting his revenge with the Slap Heard Round Smackdown. This only means this coming Raw will be all video packages and promos that feel like filler.
& that’s all folks. Smackdown flies by every week. Easily one of the quickest programs of the WWE’s catalog. I’m not mad at it. It’s Friday night and some of us got other shit to do!
